You can incorporate these four standardized actions into your daily retail training:

• 1. Pinch the Top: Hold the shaft with one hand, and use the thumb and index finger of the other hand to pinch the densest creases right under the top cap. This establishes a baseline to keep the umbrella organized.

• 2. Set the Direction: Observe the original folding direction (usually clockwise or counter-clockwise). Gently glide your index finger down along the edge of the ribs, folding the fabric panel by panel in a fan shape.

• 3. Slide and Pinch: Coordinate both hands to slide down along the ribs all the way to the tips. When reaching the end, apply slight pressure to pinch the fabric to initially set the crease.

Q: How do I smoothly put the tightly rolled umbrella back into its sleeve?
